Food&Rides will be held for the first time in Päiviönsaari, Varkaus!
The event will feature horsepower, treats from a variety of suppliers and live music.
There's something for the whole family to see and experience!
Food&Rides Brings Together All of Varkaus!
The event will feature a programme for the whole family. The Päiviönsaaren Tori area will be partially closed to traffic, with exhibits of old vehicles ranging from cars to motorbikes. In the courtyard of Harri's Food Factory you will find street food in small tasty portions as well as meal packages for bigger appetites.
The Päiviönsaaren Tori will feature live music by two artists, product presenters and service providers. At Navitas Beach (Wredenkatu 2), children will have their own children's world with a fire engine, horse-drawn carriage rides, bouncy castles and sweet treats to fill their stomachs!
Wanna Cafe&Bar will be serving everyone at Navitas Beach from 10:00 to 22:00. Lunch for kids and child lovers. At Wanna Cafe&Bar you can learn about the secrets of sparkling wine at a sparkling wine tasting on Friday 10 August from 16:00 to 18:00.
From Navitas Beach, Warkaus VII cruises depart during the day and early evening. It is possible to board the steamer at 14:00 and 18:00. Tickets can be purchased online. Seating is limited, so book your tickets in advance so you don't miss out!
There will be a full programme of events from 10:00 to 16:00 at Päiviönsaaren Tori and Navitas Beach!
From now on Z-one, Kopernikus will take to the stage to play Classic - and Finnish rock! The live concert is free of charge for all visitors. Please note that the age limit is 18 at Z-one. Showtime around 22-23.
Food&Rides Varkaus Afterparty Free Taxi Transport
EHT-Line will transport free of charge people to the event area from 17.00! Taxi departure times from in front of Hotel Oscar / 17:00 / 19:00 / 21:00 / 23:00. The free shuttle service ends with the last departure at 23:00.
